Listing Terms of Use & Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Listing application, provided free of charge by the Listing development team (“we” or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the app, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the conditions below.

2. Acceptance of Terms

Use of Listing implies full acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree with any part, stop using the app immediately and uninstall it. We may update these Terms at any time to reflect legal, technical, or business changes; the current version will always be available on this page.

3. Eligibility

Listing is intended for individuals at least 13 years of age. Minors must use the app under the supervision and responsibility of their legal guardians.

4. License of Use

We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable, and non-exclusive license to use Listing in compliance with these Terms and applicable laws. Redistribution, sublicensing, decompiling, reverse engineering, or exploiting the app for unauthorized commercial purposes is prohibited.

5. Features and User Responsibilities

Listing helps organize shopping by allowing you to:

• register items with name, quantity, estimated price, and purchase status, including marking them as completed;
• set a budget for each list and track, in real time, the total spent and remaining balance;
• share lists through QR Codes, by scanning codes on other devices, or by pasting formatted text;
• delete items individually, undo recent actions, or clear the entire list upon confirmation.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information entered, the use of sharing features, and the safekeeping of the device storing your data.

6. User Content and Sharing

All content registered in Listing belongs exclusively to you. By choosing to share lists via QR Code, code scanning, or text, you acknowledge that third parties may view, copy, or reuse the shared information. We are not responsible for how third parties use data you share voluntarily.

7. Advertising and Third-Party Services

Listing displays ads provided by Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Use of the app implies acceptance of Google's applicable terms and policies, including data collection necessary for ad delivery. You can review details at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads .

8. Costs and Availability

The app is offered free of charge. We do not guarantee that Listing will always be available or free from interruptions. We may suspend or terminate the service without prior notice due to maintenance, technical changes, legal requirements, or force majeure.

9. Warranties and Limitation of Liability

Listing is provided “as is”, without guarantees of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free performance. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for indirect damages, lost profits, data loss, hardware/software failures, or damages resulting from misuse of the app.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the developers of Listing from any claims, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from violations of these Terms or misuse of the app.

11. Modifications

We may update, add, or remove features of Listing at any time. When substantial changes are made to these Terms, we will notify you within the app or through official channels. Continued use after updates represents your acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your access if we identify violations of these Terms or unlawful use. In all cases, we recommend deleting or sharing your lists before uninstalling to avoid unwanted loss.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The courts of São Paulo/SP are elected to settle any disputes, unless otherwise required by law.

1. Purpose

This Policy describes how we handle information collected, used, and stored by Listing. We aim to be transparent about privacy practices so that you can use the app with confidence.

2. Data Controller

3. Information Collected

Listing processes only the data entered or generated during use:

• Data provided by you: shopping items, quantities, estimated prices, completed item markings, and available budget linked to the list.
• Derived data: total expenses automatically calculated and remaining balance based on the budget provided.
• Permissions and sensors: access to the device camera for reading QR Codes when you choose to share or import lists using this feature. The app does not record photos or videos.

Listing does not require registration, login, or personal data such as name, email, phone, or location.

4. Purpose of Processing

Information is processed to:

• generate and maintain your shopping lists offline;
• calculate total expenses and remaining balance based on the defined budget;
• allow you to share lists with others via QR Code, camera scanning, or text sharing;
• display banner ads that keep the app free.

5. Data Sharing

We do not transfer or sell your data to third parties. Sharing only occurs in the following cases:

• Google Mobile Ads: the AdMob service may collect identifiers and technical information to deliver ads, subject to Google’s policies.
• Voluntary sharing: by showing a QR Code, scanning codes, or sending text to others, you make your list directly available to recipients.

6. Storage, Retention, and Security

Data is stored locally on your device and is not synchronized with our own servers. You can:

• delete items individually or undo recent deletions;
• clear the entire list using the “Clear list” command;
• permanently remove all information by uninstalling the app.

We recommend protecting physical access to the device and keeping the operating system updated. We are not responsible for losses resulting from unauthorized access to the device.

7. Legal Basis

Processing is based on contract execution (providing the service requested by you) and consent for optional features, such as use of the camera and ad display.

8. Data Subject Rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data. In Listing, this can be done by editing or removing items, clearing the list, or uninstalling the app. If you need additional support, contact us using the email provided.

9. Children and Adolescents

The app is not specifically directed to children. If a minor uses Listing, it is the legal guardian’s responsibility to supervise usage and ensure proper data management.

10. International Transfers

Data is restricted to local storage on the device. Ads served by Google may involve servers in other jurisdictions, governed by Google’s global policies.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may revise this Policy to reflect product, legal, or regulatory changes. When necessary, we will display notices within the app. Continued use after updates represents your agreement with the new version.
